There are lots of interesting sights to explore also in our neighbourhood...

Wernigerode, the “Colourful City at the edge of the Harz Mountains” allures with a magnificent castle, its beautiful town hall, and an enchanting city ensemble.
Affectionately restored trains snuffle and steam on narrow-gauge railways onto the top of the Brocken and cross-country through the Harz forests.

The small city Gernrode is well known – not only to locals – for its Romanic church.
Due to its precious and curative water Bad Suderode blossomed into a popular German spa.

Western heroes and those who want to become one, have to visit Pullman-City. Here you can wash gold, learn square dance, or just enjoy a cool drink in the saloon.
Amidst the national park Hochharz you find the “most German of all mountains” – the Brocken.
The patriarchal see Halberstadt hosts in its cathedral a treasure. Not far away you will find museums and old ruins.
Due to its unique timber framing culture, mediaeval treasures and the towering collegiate church the entire city of Quedlinburg has been declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.
