All around the Hexentanzplatz spans a network of about 80 miles of beautiful hiking trails. They are suitable for inexperienced creepers, as well as for sturdy shoes that still look good when arriving at the Bergtheater, and for boots already having experience in clambering rocks. And, of course, not to forget, they are made for the eyes, ears and souls of those who carry any of these shoes.

All kind of animals that live in the Harz Mountains you will find in our zoo. Wolfs, minks, cats and capercaillies – all together more than 70 different species. You too can walk along the river Bode and marvel at all the small wonders of nature. Facing this paradise-like and unique diversity of nature, there are many who forget that they are in the middle of Germany. more >>
